A pre-workout that’s been extremely well put together and comes in the form of a rather good looking shotgun shell.

Core Ingredients

4 Gauge comes into its own with a well planned, top spec ingredients list.

The formula has clearly been put together by someone who know’s what they are doing.  There are lots of pre-workouts that focus on caffeine and other stimulants.

Whilst this gives you a mental buzz, it doesn’t provide your muscles with what they need to break those barriers and personal records.

You can research and research each ingredient in 4 Gauge and you’ll find 90% are completely backed by science with 100% being backed by the fitness community.

Creatine

This ingredient supplies energy directly to muscle cells. Creatine has been used as a supplement for ages and it delivers.

It’s formed of three amino acids L-arginine, glycine and l-methionine. 4 Gauge uses creatine as it vastly improves athletic performance and gives you a very good pump.

There’s room for a little more creatine in this product. We supplement it each workout anyway, so it wasn’t any problem for us.

Caffeine4gauge-ingredients

The normal focus of pre workouts. But, dose caffeine wrong and you get the jitters, crashes or that dreaded headache. 4 Gauge luckily offers a very smooth ride during the workout.

You feel charged up, but you won’t find yourself shaking and anxious.

Whilst on occasion we had a little trouble sleeping as a result of their caffeine, it was most likely because we used it to boost the performance of very late workout.

Citrulline Malate

Get’s you pumped. This is a fantastic thing to be supplementing to increase blood flow to muscles. Increased blood flow not only means you’ll end up looking vascular, but more oxygen is delivered to the muscle improving its performance.

The 6000mg of this ingredient is the effective dose and perfect to get blood flowing to your muscles.

L-Theanine

An amino acid thats not commonly found in foods, L-Theanine is able to cross the blood/brain barrier. It’s used in pre-workouts as supplementation of this ingredient is proven to improve mental focus.

L-Theanine is also largely used in nootropic supplements for this reason. It’s a great addition to any pre-workout supplement. There are also no known side effects from supplementing L-Theanine.

Red Beet Extract

Another ingredient that can give you a pump. Red Beet extract will benefit you by increase nitric oxide uptake and improve blood flow through your workout.

It’s also completely natural and safe. A great ingredient that can improve the effects of the citrruline in 4 Gauge.

 4 Gauge Pre-Workout Taste

I loved the taste of this. The flavor they do is fruit blast.

It’s sort of like fruity, sour sweets. The fact they use on natural ingredients and no artificial sweeteners, means there is no horrible chemical taste either.

4 Gauge Dose

The single scoop is a solid amount. We didn’t end up venturing into the two scoop territory as we generally keep our workouts to an hour or slightly over.

We had no unwanted side effects from this product. No crashes, or not left wired in bed after training.

As with any pre-workout, don’t take it too close to bed. But even before evening workouts (5-7pm) we were left sleeping well. The caffeine in 4 Gauge is minimal, so as long as you take full advantage of the extended ability to workout, then this product is worth every penny.

 4 Gauge Pre-Workout Cost

4 Gauge comes in at a fairly high price of £25 / $45 / €35 for 20 servings. This is most likely due to a natural ingredients profile and added chemical flavorings.

This is quite expensive for a pre workout, and if you are on a tight budget not for you. Check our other top 3’s for cheaper products.

If you love incredible products though and don’t mind the extra $8,  grab a shell asap!

4 Gauge Pre-Workout Review Conclusion

This pre-workout has taken my number #1 spot. It’s well formulated, using only proven natural ingredients.

One other major benefit of this product, that you don’t normally get with pre-workouts is there are no artificial sweeteners in it.

You won’t get any awful buzzy feelings or crashes, just energy and pump to dominate a workout and one great taste.

Common 4 Gauge Pre Workout Questions:

Got questions left about 4 Gauge pre workout? Here’s the most common questions we’ve been getting sent in to us.

Who Makes 4 Gauge?

4 Gauge is made by a company called Roar Ambition who specialize in premium performance supplements.

Not available anywhere but on their website, 4 Gauge is the 3rd product they made.

Not heard of Roar Ambition before? Don’t worry, all their products are made in the USA and UK and they know their stuff then it comes to supplements.

You can order 4 Gauge from their website – www.roarambition.com and also check out everything else they offer.

Is it really worth the money?

This depends. We think it is because we are fed up of those pre workout energy crashes and jitters.

4 Gauge performs as a pre workout that can be used every day and avoids any nasty side effects. If you want a pre workout closer to crack cocaine than something which works for you, you should probably be looking elsewhere.

If you’re going to purchase 4 Gauge, you can get a decent deal on 3 bottles, which makes it a bit cheaper.

What’s a good alternative to 4 Gauge?

For the best alternatives to 4 Gauge we’d recommend jumping right in and checkout out the number #2 and #3 pre workouts from our top 3 list.

They’re not as good as 4 Gauge, but do get you performing pretty well.

Does 4 Gauge mix well?

Yes. It blends perfectly, especially with a shaker bottle! 4 Gauge tastes with a kick too, and a double scoop of it can mix into a small amount of water with ease.

We normally use a glass and a fork to stir it in.

4 Gauge pre workout and cardio, is it worth it?

We generally train weights when it comes to using 4 Gauge. But have had some awesome sprint workouts using this pre workout!

4 Gauge is a great pre workout for all round performance, which is why it’s sitting pretty at our number #1 spot.
