1st Phorm Megawatt V2 Pre Workout Review

My Authour Box1st Phorm are a solid supplement company. Our 1st Phorm Megawatt V2 Pre Workout Review will take a look at key parts of their pre workout Megawatt V2 and if it’s worth your time and money.

The product itself looks and feels great. 1st Phorm always do a great job of branding their supplements too and make it pleasing to the eye.

We are a little annoyed at the use of two propreitary blends in this product though, as that means we don’t know the individual amounts of key ingredients like caffeine.

Let’s see what else is in store for us with this product…

1st Phorm Megawatt V2 Pre Workout Ingredients

The ingredients list of this product is small and quite concise. That’s not a bad thing, especially with a pre workout. It allows for the full effect of each ingredient and avoids gimmicks and wasting money on stuff that doesn’t work.

Warning Proprietary Blend! If you are buying MegaWatt V2 be aware you cannot see the individual doses of certain ingredients. 1st Phorm Megawatt v2 Pre Workout Review Ingredients

This means it could be full of the cheaper options or even lead to some unwanted side effects.

Creatine is great in pre workout supplements as it increases creatine stores in the body. These are turned into ATP which is used as fuel for muscles.

An effective dose of creatine is around 5000mg so this product is lacking a little.

Beta Alanine

Responsible for giving lots of people an itching sensation as they train. For us it’s not worth putting in pre workouts as you can get similar results from loads of other ingredients.

These ingredients don’t have annoying side effects either.

Known for better pumps through the inhibition of nitric oxide. Basically allows increased blood flow to muscles.

This is similar to L-Citrulline. However in the past we have always found citrulline in pre workouts to be more effective.

Ener-G Matrix

Basically a load of caffeine in different forms. And what a HUGE dose. At 342mg we’d have serious doubts about double scooping this without side effects.

Buyer beware, or be very very tolerant to caffeine.

V2 Matrix

Tyrosine will help with alertness and glutamine can help with energy production and as a nitrogen source for the muscles. We’d like to be able to see the effective doses of these ingredients though, as we are unsure how well this blend will perform.

1st Phorm Megawatt V2 Pre Workout Dose

The dose of caffeine in this is huge. The other ingredients will also be slightly ineffective as under dosed.

We wouldn’t recommend double scooping this pre workout, it’s just not worth the risk of having a bad time. Our current top 3 are all dosed for single or double scoops with proven natural ingredients and a clinically proven dose of caffeine.

1st Phorm Megawatt V2 Pre Workout Side Effects

We doubt you will get any horrible side effects from this, other than the caffeine.

Be careful with this amount as it could just ruin your workout and make you feel shit.

1st Phorm Megawatt V2 Pre Workout Cost

$39.99. This is the average price for a premium pre workout. Whilst you will get some good results from this product, we probably wouldn’t pay this.

It’s too much for something that doesn’t show exact doses in it’s blend and also heavily relys on a caffeine buzz. Sorry 1st Phorm 🙁

1st Phorm Megawatt V2 Pre Workout Taste

Blue raspberry isn’t really a real thing. The artifical flavours in pre workouts taste crap and are bad for you.

We are sorry but the taste of this just doesn’t beat our current number #1, which is completely natural!

1st Phorm Megawatt V2 Pre Workout Review Conclusion

Some under and over dosing are present in this pre workout. Along with artificial flavorings which can be avoided if you are wanting a premium natural pre workout.

We are sure this will deliver on some pre workout promises, but it’s just not for us.

For the money you can get far better products.
