TNT Light The Fuse Pre Workout is another popular pre-workout supplement that has recently gained a lot of popularity. Just like other TNT supplements, it has a vivid and attractive packaging, and it claims to help you train longer and harder with intense energy and focus.
But does it have what it takes to make it the best pre-workout supplement ever? Let’s read on and find out.
The TNT Light The Fuse claims that it has a powerful set of ingredients that give you that energy boost to fuel your intense workout sessions. It also claims that its intake will help improve mental focus, enhance training capacity and increase power output. Let’s take a closer look at the ingredients that help it do that, and if they really work as they say they do.
Peak Performance Activator
The Peak Performance Activator probably contains the most powerful of all ingredients present in TNT Light The Fuse. It contains Beta Alanine, calcium and Creatine Monohydrate all of which work together to exhibit stimulant properties which in turn, help improve muscle mass and gain, increase physical power and energy, and reduce fatigue during intensive workout sessions. Beta Alanine in particular, also helps maintain the water-electrolyte balance in the body, which ensures that you don’t get dehydrated easily during your workout.
Vitafive®, as the term suggests, is a complex blend of 5 powerful vitamins needed by the body. While the functioning of these vitamins in terms of a pre-workout supplement is yet to be known, it does give the overall supplement a ‘healthy’ tag. It includes vitamin B5, B1, B6, B7 and B12.
The Leanacore® contains two powerful ingredients in different proportions- caffeine and Camellia Assamica. While caffeine is known to add power to your workouts by boosting your overall energy levels and increasing mental focus and concentration, Camellia Assamica has a slightly different way of working. It works relatively faster than caffeine does, and boosts athletic performance to a huge level. Studies are needed to confirm these facts, but it is strongly believed that it also plays an important role in increasing muscle strength and decreasing fat mass.
Nitro Pump Amplifier
The Nitro Pump Amplifier packs in ingredients like L-Citrulline Malate, Arginine, N-Acetyl-l-Tyrosine, beetroot extracts and folic acid. These ingredients work together to improve your energy levels while you work out, and reduce fatigue and weakness during and post your workout session. These ingredients, specifically L-Citrulline Malate, is known to enhance healthy blood flow throughout the body.
All these ingredients do have their highs associated with their use, but as expected, they also come with certain side effects ranging from headache and nausea to diarrhea and other gastrointestinal complaints. Also, considering the high doses of each of these ingredients present in a single serving, the long term use of this pre-workout supplement is questionable.
The ideal dosage for TNT Light The Fuse is to take a single serving with 200 ml of water approximately 30 minutes prior to your workout session. A double dose, if tolerated, can be taken, but is not recommended due to the concentrated nature of the ingredients that make it up.
Whats the Cost?
The TNT Light The Fuse is priced a bit higher than most other pre-workout supplements- that’s £30.48 for a bottle containing 20 servings, which can be quite pricey. You can get better for cheaper with this supplement. Click below to see the current best pre workout supplements.
